Evaluation Questions and Answers..

1. How does your finished product compare to your design? 
My design and actual product are very similar, although maybe slightly different. Because in my design i wanted the alien to be wearing a space suit, but the only alien bottle i could use was without clothes, and because of the way it is, it was very difficult to manipulate pictures of clothing to fit the bottle. Also, i wanted the bottle to have a screw on cap but instead its got a pop up one.
2. How has technology (computer, digital camera and computer software) helped you turn your design into a real product?
The computer has helped me to create this advert by providing me with photoshop, which helped me manipulate pictures in my advert, i also used the internet, mainly google,  which i was able to collect pictures to feature in my advert. Also, the pictures that we took with the school cameras helped because it gave me an idea of how i could set it out, and how i wanted it to look, in the photos i took pictures of a coca-cola bottle.
3. Do you feel your product is suitable for your target audience?
I feel that my product is suitable for my target audience, because my product is mainly aimed at adolescents and children, and the advert, i think, looks quite fun and interesting? I think that the intended audience would, in fact, like my product.
4. Describe two challenges you have overcome.. 
2 challenges i overcome:
    - One problem i dealt with whilst making my ad, was actually thinking of a slogan that would sound good, and make sense to the advert. I had two options for this, one was to say that 'E.T. - its out of this world.' and another was just to put in the corner 'Other Worldly'. In the end i chose the first one because i thought it sounded quite good and sounded like something you might put in an advert.
    - Another problem i had whilst creating the Ad was that i didn't know where to find a picture of an alien to feature in it. At first i got loads of pictures to use but i didn't think i'd be able to manipulate any of those to look like a water bottle, so i had to find a picture of and already made alien bottle so that i could use that and make it look better.
5. Describe the technical skills you have gained..
The technical skills i have gained whilst doing this; I learned how to manipulate pictures on photoshop, how to make an advert on a computer, composition in my advert, making my advert look unbalanced, how to add backgrounds on photoshop and how to create an advert using the internet and photoshop.
