Evaluation of TV Listening Magazines
Most of them have the headings and prices in the place, I think this is bad because they look almost identical and maybe if they didn’t do this it would set them apart from the other magazines, and make them more appealing. In this task we were told us too chose 3 magazines and write what the different parts of it were, for example, main feature, which is the dominating picture which is supposed to catch the readers attention. After we had done this we had to write a evaluation of what we found. I think that generally the cheapest magazines would look tackier with bright clashing colours, and the more expensive ones would usually have less colours and more matching. Also, in my opinion the dearer one looked a lot better, and more appealing. For the cheapest one I think the audience would mostly be families, because they would just want a magazine so that they could see what on the TV and wouldn’t really care whether or not it looked good, and I think the most expensive one ‘Radio times’ would be more for older, or middle aged people who want to read some gossip.
